We made it!

We're in Paris! Feels like it's been 10 days since we left. Yesterday was tough but today has been wonderful. We stayed in Montmontre last night, my favorite place in Paris and watched the sunset. We don't have much time, have tried to log in at different times but finally got online at the train station. We are on our way to Angouleme where some old friends live, to stay for two days before we depart for St Jean Pied de Port, where we will begin walking. Our packs are HEAVY! Will need to shed some lbs soon. The big thing, touristy thing, we did today, desides riding the Metro, we went up to the top of the Eifel Tower. Very cool. I had only been to the first floor before. Dwight loves it here, although, he says the people like to get in front of you and slow down and it smells like pee everywhere. Must be the dogs. : )
We off to catch the TGV to Angouleme....a bientot.
